Welcome to Scrapstead. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Scrapstead game, website, applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using Scrapstead, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be legally permitted to use the Service in your jurisdiction.

If you are under the age at which you can legally agree to these Terms yourself, your parent or legal guardian must agree to them on your behalf.

2. Accounts

Some features of Scrapstead may require an account.

You may be able to create or access your Scrapstead account using a third-party authentication provider, such as Google. Your use of that provider is also subject to its own terms and privacy policies.

You are responsible for activity occurring through your account and for maintaining the security of your account and devices.

You may not impersonate another person, create accounts for fraudulent purposes, or attempt to access another user's account without authorization.

3. Game Rules and Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Cheat, exploit bugs, or use unauthorized software to gain an unfair advantage.
• Use bots, automation, scripts, or other tools to manipulate gameplay unless Scrapstead expressly permits them.
• Attempt to interfere with, damage, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure, except where applicable law expressly permits such activity.
• Harass, threaten, abuse, or deliberately disrupt other players.
• Use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or malicious purposes.
• Circumvent restrictions, suspensions, bans, or other enforcement measures.

We may investigate suspected violations and take reasonable action to protect the game and its players.

4. Virtual Items and Game Content

Scrapstead may include virtual resources, items, currencies, upgrades, characters, land, equipment, or other game content ("Virtual Items").

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Virtual Items:

• Have no real-world monetary value.
• Are not legal tender, investments, securities, or financial accounts.
• Cannot be redeemed for cash.
• Represent a limited right to use game content within Scrapstead rather than ownership of the underlying content.

Game balance may change over time. We may modify the attributes, availability, mechanics, or balance of Virtual Items when reasonably necessary to operate, improve, or balance the game.

If Scrapstead later allows purchases of Virtual Items or other digital content, additional payment and refund terms may apply.

5. Ownership

Scrapstead and its original software, artwork, designs, characters, text, gameplay systems, trademarks, and other content are owned by Scrapstead or its applicable licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws.

Subject to these Terms, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable right to use the Service for its intended purpose.

These Terms do not transfer ownership of Scrapstead or its intellectual property to you.

6. Feedback

If you voluntarily provide suggestions, ideas, bug reports, or other feedback about Scrapstead, you give us permission to use that feedback to develop, operate, and improve Scrapstead without an obligation to compensate you.

You retain ownership of any intellectual property you already owned before providing the feedback.

7. Third-Party Services

Scrapstead may interact with third-party services, including authentication providers, hosting providers, payment processors, analytics services, or application platforms.

Those services may have their own terms and privacy policies. Scrapstead is not responsible for third-party services outside of our control.

8. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Service if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, abused the Service, created security risks, or engaged in conduct harmful to Scrapstead or its users.

You may stop using Scrapstead at any time.

Where account deletion is available, instructions will be provided through the Service or our website.

9. Availability and Changes

Scrapstead is an evolving game.

Features, mechanics, content, servers, availability, and other aspects of the Service may change over time. We do not guarantee that any particular feature or piece of game content will remain available indefinitely.

We may temporarily or permanently modify or discontinue portions of the Service.

10. Disclaimer

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available."

We do not guarantee that Scrapstead will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or free from bugs or errors.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer-protection laws.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Scrapstead and its owners, developers, operators, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Where liability cannot legally be excluded, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

12. Privacy

Your use of Scrapstead is also subject to the Scrapstead Privacy Policy, which explains how information is collected, used, stored, and shared.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as Scrapstead evolves.

When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. If a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we may provide additional notice where appropriate.

Continued use of Scrapstead after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by law.
